Need more space?

A connecting door links  two units, Osprey and Fish Eagle which can be opened for families or friends traveling together.

Heritage View Birding Retreat is located about 100 meters from the water and bird hide, where over 350 bird species have been recorded - from fish eagles and coots to spoonbills and flamingos.

The accommodation is easily accessible from Delareyville and Sannieshof, and is the perfect stopover for travelers en route to the Kgalagadi, Namibia, or the West Coast.

House Rules

To ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for all our guests, we kindly ask that you observe the following house rules:

  • Check-in: 14:00 – 18:00

  • Check-out: 05:00 – 11:00

  • Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.

  • All units are strictly non-smoking.

  • Parties, events and excessively loud music are not permitted.

  • Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 05:00.

  • Only registered guests may stay overnight.

  • Pets are welcome by prior arrangement only.

  • Guided birding tours must be booked in advance.

  • Please respect the tranquillity of the property, the surrounding nature, and fellow guests at all times.
